In each class we will focus on increasing muscle strength, flexibility and balance. We will also incorporate breathing techniques and nutrition tips to support creating a mind-body connection that inspires improved daily living! Active Isolated Stretching

Learn a series of specific exercises that help warm your muscles up safely and efficiently, enhancing circulation, range of motion, and core strength. This type of stretching is used by professional athletes to prepare their bodies to move at their best and to prevent injuries. Everybody, athlete and non-athlete alike can benefit by doing this fifteen-minute routine daily. Flexibility is youth! You will feel the freedom to move with ease by practicing it daily.
Better Posture, Better Balance, Better Life

As children body alignment, posture, and balance came naturally to us! We eventually lost our body awareness sitting behind school desks for 12 years and then four to eight more years in college. We go to work, raise children, and seldom think about our bodies unless there is pain! The aging process begins and our muscles get tighter and weaker! Our bodies get out of alignment, our posture and balance suffer. Can you imagine how your car would ride if it was not aligned properly? It would start to break down and it would be a bumpy ride! Our bodies are out most important asset we own, so keeping it aligned is mandatory! This workshop will teach proven skills and specific gentle exercises to realign your body for better posture and balance helping you to stay active and healthy!
Knees, Knees, Knees

Learn specific exercises to help relieve knee pain. By safely strengthening, your quadriceps (muscles on front of the thigh) and stretching hamstrings (muscles on the back of the thigh) you will gain strength and stability for your knees. Proper body alignment, including posture techniques will be taught to help you stand, sit, get up and down and walk with more ease and awareness in relationship to your knees. If your knees are talking to you, it's time to start listening and give them the help they deserve!
