Active Isolated Stretching
Learn a series of specific exercises that help warm your muscles up safely, enhancing circulation and range of motion. This type of stretching is best done first thing in the morning & before doing other activities & sports. Everybody can benefit by learning this technique! It helps promote core strength and prevent injuries and muscle pain.
Become stronger, more flexible, calmer and better balanced; Yoga promotes peace and vitality and it is proven to help support the mind & body connection. You will learn traditional yoga postures (asanas), and special deep breathing exercises (pranayama). This is a safe, yet active workout, suitable for all ages and levels.
Strengthen your abdominals and create the changes you want to see and feel in your body. This session combines the best of Pilates and toning exercises with a gentle full body stretch. Lengthen, strengthen and improve your posture, health and flexibility. You will be laying comfortably on the floor working on your core strength and back health. We provide mats, pillows, and Stretch Masters. Modifications will be offered for individual needs.
What really makes your body look & feel better? When you are standing, sitting & moving in perfect alignment! Your car is an excellent example! This session will teach you how to align your body to stand taller, move easier & gain better balance & core strength. More oxygen will flow through your body and you will feel more energy and alertness!

A tight muscle is a weak muscle. Flexibility is an important part of your total body fitness, affecting all your movement. No matter your age or lifestyle, you can improve your flexibility and core strength by practicing safe and effective exercises focusing on specific muscle groups. This is a non-competitive session for anyone wanting to move and feel better.

Set your pace with this new invigorating workout! Enjoy outdoors as we walk the track at College of Marin, hike Marin trails or kayak in the bay! Enhance your fitness program and feel invigorated, enjoying the beauty of Marin County!
Body/Mind Boot Camp
Take the challenge now and sign up for this session that will help get you into shape as you focus on fitness. You will learn strengthening, stretching, fat burning exercises and special meditations to keep you focused on the results desired. Also included are healthy eating tips, designed to help lose weight, not muscle tone and gain energy! Be prepare to get measurements taken for weight & body fat %. You will receive a journal to keep track of your progress.
Special Exercises for Golf & /or Tennis
Do you want to improve your game? Let's take into account the specific action moves needed to perform better! Learn a series of exercises designed to prepare your body and mind for your sport. You will receive a handout with pictures and descriptions you may take home and continue to practice.
Ergonomics for Computer & Other Lifestyles
Becoming aware of how you work at your desk on your computer to keep your body healthy involves proper height of your desk, chair and adjusting the computer to your individual body shape, (long/short torso,leg & arm length etc). Let me help you with back, neck, and wrist discomfort. If you are not in proper body alignment, you will place stress on your body parts. This can lead to discomfort, pain and inability to stay focused. Awareness is the key and you can learn to make subtle adjustments in your work space that may be causing unneeded stress and strain! I am available to help design your workplace! I also have a series of simple and effective minute long exercises that can be done through out the day to keep your body agile and healthy!!

Dance Therapy is a vehicle through which we encounter ourselves & shape new possibilities. When we are given time to listen and feel deeply to the powerful intelligence of the body, to play and express, healing occurs. No previous dance experience is needed. Dance Therapy is suitable for all ages.

This session is inspirational and fun! It focuses on positive body awareness through strength, flexibility and core conditioning exercises. Your teen will develop better posture, coordination & self confidence as we combine guided imagery and relaxation techniques to help balance both mind and body.
Children’s yoga is non-competitive sessions that will help children feel more confident & positive as they develop strength, flexibility and balance. They will learn traditional asanas such as downward dog, triangle pose, tree and cobra. Your child will have the opportunity to gain a greater sense of self through body awareness while having fun. Each class ends with a guided relaxation journey.
